Band boosters can have a much broader impact than just fundraising. Here are 3 big tips for advocacy:

1. Bring your music booster program outreach to the people that make the decisions. Maybe invite VIPs, administrators, and politicians to concerts
2. Connect your program to your community’s music scene. Get in touch with local musicians, teachers, and artists. Hold masterclasses and perform at local events.
3. Write to your local administrators, superintendents, and legislators advocating for funding for music programs
